Store first impression

Our store will be ready in less than 2 weeks! So girls, just for your eyes only, here are some drawings from my contractor's interior designer:

The entrance of the store

Counter/ Shelves/ Island

I will omit the shelves near the counter and put a comfy sofa instead. The sofa is meant for the "hubbies" ... I know how women always 'seksa' their spouse during the shopping trip (have to stand for hours while waiting for us to choose which shoes or bags to buy hehehe). Thanks to hubby for the idea ;-)

So at least they can sit while you choose your bags! (next time they won't mind coming to my store and accompany you to shop here ;-) ... )

How to spot fake Coach Bags> look before u buy!

Authentic Coach Bags have:

1) smooth C patterns (for signature bags)- not crooked, or slanted. As Lisa (2006) wrote on her review: "the tip of the horizontal "C" facing the other "C" should touch. Also, the pattern should line up and start in the center of the front panel of the bag (same with the back panel). The center seam should go straight down through the middle of the CC's, and the pattern should be aligned horizontally and vertically. Also, the pattern should line up on any front or back pockets, so that it looks like there is no break in the pattern. (Note: Sometimes the pattern does not line up on side seams as this is nearly impossible to do.)"

2) Stitches should be damn straight - no crooked or messy stitches. Whenever stitches met, the C patterns should be aligned- refer to the image below- (with exception to coach optic design).

3) For signature bags, lining of the bag should be plain (no signature lining). If the exterior of the bag is plain (as in leather bags), the lining should have C or legacy (stripe) signature.

4) Coach creed must have valid style number, a fake can still have a style number, but it does not mean a thing. Original Coach bag will have style number that looks like this: L0868-42516.
'08' in green, means the bag was released in year 2008, regardless of whether it was released in January or December 2008. 42516 is the style number- the last four (for older bags) or five digits on the creed is the style numbers. Sometimes, there's letter F in front of the style number for example L0868-F42516. F indicates that the bag is from Coach Factory Store (not Coach boutique). Some will have bull eye stamping on the creed, if you see bull-eye stamping, you'll know it's authentic Coach bags from Coach Factory Store! Coach Factory Store items are not rejected items, they are off-season items, or items produced in smaller quantity to test consumer market, etc. They are still offered at high retail prices, but lower compared to those selling in Coach boutique.

5) If it looks "fishy", then it might be fake (you know, looks like it's from Pasar Malam...).

6) All Coach bags use YKK zip. Some zippers are either made of leather, a single ring, or series or rings.

7) All Coach bags from the legacy collection will have multi-coloured stripes silk lining, it will never have 'plain' lining!

8) Most Coach bags are made in China nowadays- they are authentic! On the other hand, if the tag says made in USA, Korea or Thailand, then it is a fake! Run for your life!

We do not support fake products, and never will.
